Who were they?
Youngest: Assad Thomas
Five months old, in third class. Separated from his mother as the ship sank, he was carried to a lifeboat by the stewardess Violet Jessop, and the two were reunited aboard the Carpathia.
Born 1911; died of pneumonia in 1931.

Oldest: Algernon Barkworth
First class; floated away on a wooden plank, then climbed onto a capsized (upside-down) boat. Born 1864, died 1945.
Surprise: Barkworth was 47 in 1912, not 80 — the dataset gives age at death, not at the sinking. A problem in the data, not the code.
